A multi-modal interchange bridging cut-and-cover structures over live rail.
Placeholder copy. The Northgate Transit Interchange knits bus, rail and active-travel routes into a single hub built partly over operating infrastructure. Ground conditions ranged from stiff glacial till to soft alluvium, requiring a mix of driven piles and ground improvement to control differential settlement beneath the concourse.
